My work has focused in recent years on the conservation of seas and oceans from a cultural (Afro-Caribbean) and religious (Yoruba religion) point of view. After many years doing feminist research into my position as a woman and that of many other women in society, I have reached a point of such great anguish where I needed to seek healing and I always go to the sea. The sea gives me peace, calm but above all it is a woman who needs a lot of help, it is Mother Nature that cries out for a little awareness and action from humans.

Mi obra se ha centrado en los últimos años en la conservación de mares y océanos desde un punto de vista cultural ( afro caribeño) y religioso ( religión Yoruba ). Después de muchos años haciendo una investigación feminista de mi posición como mujer y de otras tantas mujeres ante la sociedad he llegado a un punto de angustia tan grande donde necesitaba buscar sanar y siempre acudo al mar. La mar me da paz, tranquilad pero sobre todo es una mujer que necesita mucha ayuda es la madre naturaleza que pide a gritos un poco de consciencia y acción de los humanos.
